Melba Sanders is a Dallas-based artist, entrepreneur, and project manager whose work is guided by faith, purpose, and creative expression.  Rooted in a lifelong spiritual foundation nurtured at Seven Springs UMC, Melba leads both her life and her artistry with intention, integrity, and devotion.

 

She is the founder of The Poured Canvas, where she specializes in resin and acrylic pour art. Each piece is a visual testimony—layered with movement, color, and meaning—reflecting her deep commitment to capturing beauty while honoring the divine flow of creativity. Melba believes every artwork carries its own story, inviting connection, reflection, and inspiration.

 

With over a decade of artistic experience, Melba reached a significant milestone in 2018 when she sold her first international piece, now on display in Mumbai, India. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to share her gifts with audiences around the world and considers her art a calling as much as a craft.

 

Beyond the canvas, Melba brings the same focus and excellence to her professional career. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Jackson State University, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and is the founder of Compass Financial Solutions. Whether managing projects, building businesses, or creating art, Melba’s work is anchored in faith, purpose, and a heart for service.
