Melba Darden is a career-driven and focused professional whose passions are project management and the world of creating poured art. She is a Black, Dallas-based artist and entrepreneur. She grew up attending Seven Springs UNC, leading by faith in her life and her artistry.

 

Melba is the founder of The Poured Canvas.

As an artist, her specialty is resin and acrylic pours on canvases. A storyteller, each piece of artwork has its own story which reflects her dedication to capturing the beauty and movement of color.

 

Melba has been creating art for over 10 years and in 2018 she sold her first international artwork which is on display in Mumbai, India.  She is overjoyed by the opportunity to share her passion and work with the world.

 

Melba has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Jackson State University and is a certified Project Management Professional. She is also the founder of Compass Financial Solutions.

 

She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
